RA LAWAL-RABANA

SAN, FCIArb

RA Lawal-Rabana SAN is the Chief Counsel, he was called to Nigerian Bar in 1983,became a Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2008, and became a Life Bencher in 2011. He has been in different teams for review of law and panel of enquiries. The Chief Counsel has served as the General Secretary of Nigerian Bar Association (National 2006-2008), Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association, Ilorin Branch, and in different committees of the Nigerian Bar Association. He was a member of Federal Judicial Service Commission from 2008- 2013 and member of Body of Benchers disciplinary Committee from 2009 – 2015. RA Lawal Rabana, SAN is a member of several professional bodies such as Fellow of Chattered Institute of Arbitrators of the UK and Nigerian chapter). He has handled very contentious cases up to the Supreme Court.

IKECHUKWU UWANNA

  

Mr. Uwanna has over a decade of experience in commercial law practice. Before joining the firm, he had garnered extensive dispute resolution and transactional experience with Serenity Legal Union and Partners, Port Harcourt as well relevant Tax experience with SIAO Partners, where he advised both local and multinational companies on their commercial and litigation matters. He was appointed a Notary Public in 2012.

He is currently the Secretary of the Lagos Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association and a member of the National Executive Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association. Also, he is the Secretary of the Law Firm Management Committee of the Section on Business Law of the Nigerian Bar Association.

Ikechukwu had previously served as a member of the National Editorial Board of the Nigerian Bar Association and was the foremost National Secretary of the Young Lawyers Forum of the Nigeria Bar Association.

Mr. Uwanna currently represents the Nigerian Bar Association on the Board of the Civil Society Committee of the Nigeria Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative.

DR. IBRAHIM KAYODE ADAM

He was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 1991. He has a Doctorate degree (Ph.D) in law from the International Islamic University Malaysia, Master of Law degree from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife,
Nigeria. He was a former Head of Chambers of RA Lawal Rabana & Co., former General Secretary Nigerian Bar Association, Ilorin Branch and Former Head of Department of Business Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. His areas of specialty and research interests are intellectual property law, law of taxation, commercial arbitration, industrial and corporate law.

IWALOLA BELLO (MRS)

She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1999. Iwalola Bello (Mrs.) is the present Head of Chambers. She has obtained Masters Degree in Arbitration in 2010 and a Notary Public. She has handled diverse cases for the chambers and has special interest in civil and criminal litigation as well as corporate practice.

KIZITO OJI, ESQ.

He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2004. He obtained Masters in Industrial and Labour Relations from University of Ilorin in 2010 and he became a Notary Public in 2015. Kizito Oji is the present Deputy Head of Chambers and was amongst the pioneers of the National Council Members of the Young Lawyers forum from 2006- 2009. He has also served different bodies and committees of the NBA, such as Assistant Secretary NBA, Ilorin Branch 2007-2009, Secretary Election Petition Review Planning Committee, etc. He is specialized in litigation and corporate practice.

EZEKIEL ADEWALE ODELEYE, ESQ

Adewole is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Since his call to the Nigerian Bar in 2008, he has been in active practice. Adewale’s experience cuts across many fields of law including civil and criminal litigation, corporate and commercial practice, real estate, probate, immigration and maritime.

ABDULRAZAQ ADELODUN DAIBU

Abdulrazaq Adelodun Daibu is a versatile counsel in the law firm of R A Lawal Rabana & Co., Ilorin, Nigeria. He obtained his Master of Law (LL.M) and Bachelor of Law (LL.B) degrees from University of Ilorin, Ilorin Nigeria. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in
2009 and qualifies as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He joined the prestigious law firm of RA Lawal-Rabana & Co in the year 2010 after his compulsory National Youth Service Corps. Abdulrazaq has undergone numerous professional trainings in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Commercial Arbitration Law. He has also handled several High Court and Court of Appeal cases. His areas of specialization are civil and criminal litigation, constitutional law matters and commercial arbitration. He has published quite a number of articles in the area of ADR and Arbitration law in reputable peer reviewed international and local journals.

PETER OBU ABANG

Peter Obu Abang is a holder of Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) from the University of Calabar,Cross River State. He graduated with a Second Class (Upper Division) and later was called to the Nigerian Bar in January, 2012 after obtaining a Second Class (Upper Division) at the Nigerian Law School. He has penchant for litigation that cuts across different areas of law and courts. He has shown versatility in Corporate & Commercial practice, particularly in Business formation, Taxation and Development Advisory and has special stint in civil and criminal matters, constitutional law matters, Commercial Arbitration, Oil and Gas, Intellectual Property, and Dispute Resolution. Peter also holds a Diploma in Information Communication Technology.

AYOKUNLE OLUFADE

Ayokunle Olufade is a holder of Bachelors of Law (LL. B) from Adekunle Ajasin University, Ondo State, Nigeria and was called to the Nigerian Bar upon completion of Nigerian Law School. He joined the Law Firm of RA Lawal-Rabana & Co. in December, 2015. He has penchant for Litigation that cut across different areas of law and courts. He has shown versatility in corporate & commercial practice, particularly in Business formation and Development Advisory and has special stint on Intellectual Property, Information Communication Technology & Telecommunication and Dispute Resolution.

ADEJUMOKE ADEMOLA

Adejumoke Ademola is a counsel at RA Lawal-Rabana & Co. A holder of Bachelors of Law (LL. B) from Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria and was called to the Nigerian Bar in November, 2016.
